Books... fun to read and eat

Will and Nate love to look at books and eat them. I have reminded D to put his books up but some now have gnawed corners. They now like to steal books from each other too which involves screaming and giggling.
Silly brothers.

I'm sick!

Hi this is Will and I am sick. We all had colds last week (except Mommy) but then Sunday night I got a really high temp. We went to the doctor Monday and I have my first ear infection. It really hurts. All I want is to snuggle. I really don't like my own bed and wake up for Mommy to hold me every hour on the hour. It took a few days for the antibiotics to kick in and I feel much better. Maybe I will even start to sleep again soon. I still smile for the camera.

The good news is that Nate and I are both over 15 pounds now. Yeah!! Nate also got his first tooth this week which we are all very excited about. Bring on the chocolate chip cookies and candy and everything else now (or maybe I need more teeth first). I am glad that Natey feels good and not icky like me (mommy is happy about this too).

Trick or treating

This was the first year we took Derek trick or treating. Last year I was on partial bed rest so we decided to wait for this year. We were unsure how Derek would enjoy it so we had been practicing all week: ringing the doorbell, saying trick or treat, and saying thank you. We bundled up the clan. Will quickly fell asleep as he was all warm in his costume. We started next door at Mr Kevin and Mrs. Donna's house. D was so excited. Mr Kevin said boo loundly and both D and I jumped. D loved it. We only did a few more houses before D was tired and said he was all done. Then he saw a runner and preceded to run after him.

Then he discovered the real holiday: CANDY! D has had M&Ms (in large quantity due to potty training) but has not really had much candy otherwise. We gave him a bite of kit kat and butterfinger. His eyes lit up and he asked to go trick or treating the next day again! Go back to Mr. Kevins house again mommy he kept asking.

When we got home. Mike ran ahead so D's last stop could be our house. D rang the doorbell and launched himself into Daddy's arms giggling.. and asked for lots of candy. We had a great time. It was a great first experience for all of us.

Happy Halloween (a bit early)

The amazing Kati (bean and sprout photography) took our pictures earlier this month. You will have to wait to see more of them and I am saving my favorites for our holiday card but for now you get the costume pics. These were taken at the end of the shoot and the troops were losing it. I love love love the crabby faces.

Will is the tiger and Nate is the monkey. Big D is the giraffe :)

Who needs baby toys?

Who needs baby toys when there are all these fun toddler toys? Derek is learning slowly how to share. We get lots of move the baby requests these days.

Nate has been crawling forwards for a week and is all over the place. He went from slow to super-fast in that time. These kiddos are everywhere. They are also more spunky. As I write this Nate is screaming at the top of his lungs. I look over and Will is hogging a toy. Will looks at me and giggles. I think Will is not playing nice and Nate is working it. And so it goes...

Cute buns

Just a thought.. this is the only appropriate nakedness I can see to text. Just saying...

The cute nakedness is Will. Check out the buns.

Go Packers

I am sure that it is my good luck charms that helped the Packers beat the Vikings. Take that Brett Favre. I stuck with you after leaving the team but I have now turned against you with this one.

Will now smiles every time the camera comes out. So cute. These are 2 happy happy boys.
