Sleeping bags

The boys got new sleeping bags. They are very excited about them and have been sleeping on the floor together.  Nate, Will, and D in order.

 Thank you Geema and Bumpa for all your help. The boys loved the zoo train and fun outings before we went to Newport as well as all the play time.  D used the pressure washer to help Bumpa clean the driveway.  Bumpa cleaned my car and Geema did lots of small projects to help me.  I got lots of naps in.  Thank you!

Naughty farmer pickles

Last night, we caught D drinking directly from the milk comtainer. We asked him where he got the idea.....farmer pickles taught me. Naughty farmer pickles! He has been d's imaginary friend a long time but this is the first time he got the blame.

Last day of school

 Today is Derek's last day of pre-school.  In the fall he will still be at the same school in the pre-k program.  D had a great school year with teachers Dawn and Clara.  They have both loved him unconditionally, taught him about the Bible, and his letters and numbers.  They are such a blessing to us.  The top pictures is the book that had artwork and pictures from the year.   If you look sideways you will  se the interview they did.  The answers are hilarious.


Derek we are so proud of how you acted and the choices you made this year. We love you so much.  You are our special guy and we will always love you.

Popsicles

Warm weather means popsicles!  We had bought our first batch of oregon strawberries and I made jam, popsicles, cobbler, and put some in the freezer.  The boys loved the popsicles!

Kites

We went to the coast for a few days with Gammy and Gumpy.  D learned how to fly a kite! It was a huge hit.

Will (orange) and Nate really enjoyed running in the shallow water and playing in the sand.  They also tried to fly a kite.
