Smile!

Will and Nate think the camera is fun now. As soon as a camera comes out, so do the cheeky smiles. Will is in stripes. Will and Nate have had word explosions lately. They are both chatty. If you ask Will, are you Natey? He says no and points to Nate. If you ask Natey the reverse, he points to Will and says bruder.

Hugs

WIll and Nate both enjoy giving Santo Pino hugs. Will in stripes. Will and Nate are definitely 2. They are testing boundaries, throwing fits, and also silly and fun. Last week was a rough week. One of the low points was leaving the play park. WIll decided he did not want to leave the play vacuum and threw a fit. I carried him screaming through the gym to the car. While getting him in the car seat, Nate looked at me, laughed, and ran away down the sidewalk. Derek was a tremendous help and went to be with Nate and hold his hand while they waited for me to come. Thankfully these type of events are rare. The majority of the time we are all happy folk.

Big boy beds

After the 5th night in a row waking up in the middle of the night to find Will (stripes) trying to crawl into our bed, we decided that big boy beds were in order. Alli and I converted the cribs to toddler beds in the morning and let all the boys play in the new beds for a while. The first nap and the first night time sleep were a success. They love their beds.

It has now been a week and the boys are still doing pretty well in them. Although we have had some snafus. Yesterday I went in to find they had dumped out a drawer and were picking through the contents. I walked in just in time to see Will putting his hand into a jar of petroleum jelly. Danger averted. Today I had to go in several times to remind them to stay in their beds but they do! A gate in the door is also helpful to keep them in their room and not wandering.

Bye Alli

We were very sad to say bye to Alli. We had such a great time with her. D has already started the countdown until her visit this summer. She will be here in 11 weeks and will stay for 3 weeks this July!

The armor of God

Geema sent a special gift for the boys. It is the armor of God suit from Ephesians 6. The boys all love to put in on. Nate in the pic.

D also uses the set to play David and Goliath. He is really into the story. He and Alli took turns being David. As I was cooking dinner, I heard D yelling I am just a boy but I come in the name of God and then I am going to chop your head off. It was pretty fun to hear. He also sings Only a boy named David when he starts with the sling. I gave him a sling I bought in Israel and let him uses a foam block to "aim" at Goliath.

Sisters

We are so glad Al was here for Easter. We all loving having her here. I adore my sister.
