Happy Father's Day to all dads! I want to give a huge hurray to my husband Mike. Mike is an awesome Daddy! He is Derek's super hero (and for Will and Nate too-they just don't know it yet). Derek's favorite times of the day is when MIke opens the door. Derek sits on the couch and screams for joy when he sees Mike. Our boys are blessed to have Daddy home a lot. Derek eats all three meals a day with Daddy. I love that Mike comes home for lunch everyday! I love listening to Mike go in and get Derek in the morning. They have a monster routine that starts with growling and ends with giggles. I love watching Mike snuggle our three boys. Whoever is with MIke gets his full attention. He patiently listens to stories about birds D has seen or babbles from babies. Mike is a great tickle-monster and snuggler for his boys. He trains them by example. He disciplines with gentleness. He compliments their best efforts. He patiently reads the same book over and over.
Mike loves his boys by being kind to me and being an amazing husband. Our house is filled with laughter. We all have fun together. Mike is amazing and I proud to be his wife. I am proud of the Daddy he is. Our boys are blessed with a wonderful Daddy.
