We had a great day exploring Seattle. Derek took his first streetcar ride. I think he enjoyed not being in a car seat. Then he took his first monorail to the Seattle Center. Derek loved the carousal ride in the comfort of the ergo. We went to Pike Place! We enjoyed seeing the first Starbucks and getting a mocha there. We had lunch at Pike Place as well. Derek was a great trooper as we toured around!
It was a wonderful trip. Traveling with a little one certainly changes everything. We didn't plan too much to do and spent a ton of downtime which worked well. Gone are the days of rushing to see everything! Derek did great on the 3.5 hour car ride. He is a great little traveler. As much as we enjoy traveling, there is nothing like being at home and sleeping in your own bed!
