Derek figured out his toy. Up to now he has been taking the pieces off, but last week he figured out how to put them back on. He found out it is easier if his finger was not in the hole of each piece. He would get so excited each time a piece would fall on and squeal.I think the secret must be his tongue. He has been sticking it out to concentrate lately!As I write this, he is giggling because he has climbed the up on the couch and is looking out the window with the dogs. What victory! We are just glad that he has a safe exit strategy that he sometimes employs. Yesterday not so much.. he slid off using his head as the stopper. He was fine- just a bit stunned.
By the way, Grandma is coming tomorrow! Grandma is coming tomorrow! We are so excited! Plus Mike has off all next week to spend with all of us!
